How do I book a session?

Contact us and let us know which package you’re interested in! We will let you know available times or you can join our waitlist to be notified of future sessions.

Where do the photography sessions take place?

Most of our sessions take place at What a Great Dog! Training Center in Frisco, TX. However, we also offer in-home sessions!

How do the backdrop colors work?

For mini sessions, the backdrop color is pre-selected and will be listed in the session details. For our standard, deluxe and in-home packages, you have the flexibility to choose your preferred backdrop color! Feel free to explore our gallery for inspiration and color options to find the perfect backdrop for your session!

What types of pets do you photograph?

We photograph all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and even small animals like rabbits, hedgehogs and guinea pigs.

What should I expect before, during and after a photoshoot?

We’re thrilled you’re considering a photoshoot with us! Once you book, we’ll send a confirmation message along with a form for you to fill out, which helps us tailor the session to your pet’s needs.

During the session, your pet will have time to explore the space and get comfortable. I’ll be sitting on the floor, and a wrangler (if booked that day) will assist if needed. If you are booking a session at What a Great Dog! Training Center and your dog is easily excited or reactive, we can help guide you through the facility or even arrange an after-hours shoot for a calmer experience.

After the shoot, you’ll receive a gallery of lightly edited, watermarked proofs within 1-2 weeks. Once you select your favorites, we’ll finalize the edits and send you the high-resolution digital images. Our final edits typically take another 1-2 weeks. If you need rush delivery for your photos, we can accommodate for an additional fee.

Can I bring more than one pet?

For standard and deluxe sessions, you can add an extra pet to your session for $100 (max. 2 pets per session from the same home).

For mini sessions, each time slot is for one pet only. However, you are more than welcome to book multiple slots for additional pets!

What if my pet doesn’t sit still or gets nervous?

That’s no problem at all. We have lots of tricks up our sleeves to help pets settle in to the studio space, and we can always capture fun action shots!

What if my dog is reactive?

No worries! We will try our best to book you a time slot when there will be less dogs in the facility, and we will assist you while entering the facility to make sure you have adequate space.

The room we set up our studio in is fully enclosed, and we have music and a fan running to block out noises from the surrounding facility.

Can I include myself or family members in the photos?

Absolutely! We encourage owners to be part of the session to capture the special bond between you and your pet.

How long does it take to receive my photos?

What if I need to reschedule?

We understand that things come up! If you need to reschedule, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance, and we’ll work with you to find a new date.

Do you offer digital images and prints?

Currently we provide standard 8×10 high-resolution digital images. We hope to offer prints soon!

Can I gift someone a session?

Yes! You can purchase a gift certificate for a specific session or a set dollar amount. The recipient can then schedule their session at their convenience. Contact us to purchase.
